God is Still Our Help!

 

Last night I watched in horror as the unbelievable  political show continued. I felt like I was in some type of maniacal fairy tale. Usually fairy tales end by saying and they lived happily ever after. Unfortunately this is not a fairy tale. This is real life. I watched as Mike Johnson the Speaker of the House of Representatives literally laid down his responsibility by saying that it was alright  for the Executive Branch of Government  to do a power grab. He’s lost and I don’t know if he’s ever coming back to his senses.

 I watched in horror as Elon Musk with his four year old child named X on his shoulders in the Oval Office stood over the President who was sitting impotently at the Resolute Desk.  Musk observed no kind of protocol. He wore his regular Billionaire boy clothes. He was there with no suit, no tie, no decorum wearing  a hat.  His clothes made the statement, " I'll break all protocols.  I’ll do what I want and no one can or will stop me." He did a flex on President Trump. If anyone else brought one of their eleven children from one of his three women to the White House do you think that child would be in front of the camera in the Oval Office  during an important event with the POTUS?  Musk did it because he owns PResident Trump. The  Bible says the borrower is the slave to the lender and the rich rules over the poor. Proverbs 22:7 

Trump made a deal with the devil and now he has to pay. Not only does the POTUS pay we all are being penalized. Our nerves are under attack as we watch the unwinding of our laws, protocols and traditions.  Unelected  Elon Musk  has been given permission to throw a wrench into the gears of government.  Trump dares not stop him. He took  Musk's money and now Musk gets to call the tunes.  He is just letting this unelected billionaire do as he pleases. 

A coup is taking place right in front of our faces. As I was going to bed I thought , "What are we going to do to stop this?"  A still small voice in my head said., “You stop this through prayer.”   

On this thought I rest my faith. God still rules in the affairs of men. i will pray to God who is in control.

Daniel 4:34-35
